Most of that scholarship funding is awarded to students through Provost’s Awards and the Penn State Discover Award. In addition to the scholarships and awards outlined on the Office of Student Aid website, Penn State offers awards to incoming first-year and transfer students. Additionally, scholarships and awards can be offered from academic colleges, campuses, and other administrative units, some of which will require separate applications. The 2024-25 FAFSA will be available sometime in December 2023, and we encourage all students new to Penn State to log into this application on or after January 1, 2024, and complete and submit the application by February 15, 2024, to ensure maximum consideration for all types of aid.
